Biography

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Secure and Advanced Computer Architecture Research Group (SACA), North Carolina State University (NCSU), and being mentored by Professor Amro Awad. I worked as a Technical Research Personnel at the Inter-university Semiconductor Research Center (ISRC) at Seoul National University (SNU) for military service from March 2020 to February 2023. I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at SNU in August 2021, under the guidance of Professor Hyuk-Jae Lee. I also received my B.S. from the same department at SNU in August 2016.

Research Interests

I am interested in disaggregated memory systems and their supportive technologies (e.g., security and cache-coherent interconnect). In my doctoral studies, I improved reliability and performance of phase-change memory (PCM) systems. Meanwhile, I developed highly accurate simulation platform targeted to non-volatile memory system. Also, I worked on an FPGA-based video processing hardware accelerator.
